Files on the Server
When you want to put files on the school network for your students to access, or if you want to share/pick up files from fellow teachers, this is how you do it:
1. Click on your desktop (the top bar now says: Finder)
2. Click on “Go”
3. Scroll down to “Connect to sever . . .”
4. If no words show up in your box, type in the following:
osx-jun.bend.k12.or.us
5. Click on “Connect”
6. Double click on “Class Folders”
If you are trying to pick up something from a fellow teacher (like myself), scroll down to “Outbox” and double-click on it. Then drag the file onto your desktop.
DO NOT OPEN the file while it is sitting on the server.
If you are trying to put something in your folder for your students, place it in the “Outbox” or “Pickup Box” (whichever Cory named it for you).
