Easter-ish Activity
Stumbled across this fun activity at Discovery Educator Network. Here is the write-up from the teacher who created it (Sorry, the author is not attributed so cannot give credit.):
This activity allows students to watch a fun video called “Max and the Chocolate Chicken” that talks about hunting for eggs. After students watch video they will use skills previously learned and click on the link to Excel and go fill in spreadsheet on their jellybeans they got out of the egg they found in my basket and create a graph and change colors of graph to match jellybean color. We have a Technology Report card for our kids.. and this is a project that should cover one our Technology TEKS for 3rd grade. You will need to download the video and put in same folder with the powerpoint activity for it to work.
